Cirrhilabrus punctatus

This amazing port vila fairy wrasse(Cirrhilabrus punctatus) from Vanuatu is now gone from the store but I still have his little brother. I was hoping to post a picture of the fish I have but he is more camera shy.

New fish day always feels a little bit like Christmas. I can't wait.

Thank You everyone for a fantastic day. We have new fish arriving tomorrow and we'll be taking liverock pre-orders all week.

I'm not sure what the chalk basslet finds so interesting that he had to show his tankmates, a green corris wrasse and a dot dash goby.

This Hooded Fairy Wrasse is one from the Vanuatu shipment we received this week.

the green/red chalice at the right center of this photo attacked the yellow acans just to the upper left of it. Katie recognized the gelatinous mucosa enveloping the acans as gastric tissue from the chalice. The acans was pretty damaged, but I'm hopeful it will survive.
